What’s Happening to Our Health?

We live in an increasingly toxic society.  Our water, air and food supplies are heavily polluted.
Approximately 75,000 new chemicals have appeared since 1930.  Therefore it is even more crucial today than ever to have the correct supply of raw materials from our food to build and maintain healthy cells.  Our cells are constructed entirely out of what we have eaten and because all health starts at cellular level, the question is ….

Are we getting enough nutrients?

Although we are the most overweight we have ever been, our population is starving.  The modern diet is comprised mainly of foods that lack the necessary nutrients to ensure proper cellular function. As a result, our brains keep asking for nourishment; we eat more and more receiving less and less from our food.  Only fully ripened foods provide the full nutritional potential from the phytochemicals   (healthy plant chemicals) they were designed to yield.  Have you ever thought to yourself, “What makes a tomato or the meat of a water-melon red?  Well, reddish colours are produced by a hugely valuable antioxidant called Lycopene.  When a tomato is green it has virtually no Lycopene.  Commercial farms harvest our produce green before the real nutrition can chemically (naturally) form in the plant.  They then gas the produce, which causes an unnatural reaction in the produce, which makes it turn colour.  This allows them to have time for shipping and shelf life in the supermarkets.

This lack of nutrition is compounded by soil depletion, preservatives and the excessive processing of our food.  All this has resulted in a population with immune systems incapable of fighting off disease.

In 1987, the USA National Academy of Science last evaluated the nutritional content of fruits, vegetables and other foodstuffs.  They set the goal of 5 to 7 portions of fruit and vegetables daily to remain relatively healthy.  15 years later when they reviewed the situation they were appalled to learn that the amount of essential nutrients had fallen by 50%.  Imagine trying to get people to eat 10-14 portions of fruit and vegetables every day.  Most of us do not even eat 4 portions a day.  So they changed their recommendation, and this was the first time ever the medical profession recommended that we should supplement our daily intake of essential nutrients.

What are Glyconutrients?

They are key elements in food that make optimal health possible and are essential for cellular function.  The bad news is we are only currently getting 2 of the vital 8 Glyconutrients in our diet today.  Researchers have learned that every cell in our body communicates by utilizing a Braille-like alphabet of 8 Glyconutrients.  These structures (glycoproteins) sit on each of our cell surfaces and form the very ‘operating system of the body’.  However, if any of these Glyconutrients are damaged or missing, our cells can miscommunicate, malfunction or not be recognized correctly.  This can cause an auto immune response leaving the body to attack itself or produce an overactive or suppressed immune function.

Are these Carbohydrates safe?

Your body was designed to use Glyconutrients, to incorporate them into our glycoproteins. As such, they are an essential part of your diet.  They are foods, not drugs.  They have no toxic side effects. 5 of the 8 are found in human breast milk.   These sugars are not pharmaceutical agents and do not cure anything.  They simply restore basic cellular functions to normal, and allow the body to fend for itself.  Our natural killer cells will then work to identify and destroy diseased cells. The immune system can be restored to normal to modulate itself in response to attack.  A complete and balanced Glyconutrient complex has been shown to be an immune system modulator, not immune system stimulator.

Scientific Research Backing Glyconutrition

The last 4 Nobel Prizes in Physiology or Medicine were awarded for discoveries in the field of Cellular Communication.  This invaluable research has shown that the body communicates in specific ways.  Cellular Communication is dependent upon the body having the necessary ingredients.

There are over 20,000 studies conducted annually on glycoforms alone. Researchers from universities and major pharmaceutical companies realize the importance of this new discovery. Breaking the “sugar-code” will mean a tremendous advancement in health and medicine.

Studies confirm that the eight essential biologically active sugars can accomplish amazing results. The following are just a few examples of the exciting possibilities of Glyconutrition:

  • Dramatically raises natural killer cell and macrophage count against infectious organisms.
  • Activates immune T-cell activity only when invaders or antigens are present.
  • Decreases cell death in chronic fatigue syndrome.
  • Dramatically elevates disease resistance in weakened individuals.
  • Acts as antioxidant compounds, which boost the collection of dangerous free radicals.
  • Protects the body against toxin and pollutant exposure.
  • Slows premature aging.
  • Decreases inflammation in diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Helps immune cells recognize invaders due to a mutual “sugar exchange” of information.
  • Enables cellular components to stick to each other initiating the right reactions

Which Glyconutrients could you be missing?  The good news is that you will not need to guess as a complete patented blend of all the necessary carbohydrates is now available .
